Editorial Policies & Independence

  • Peer Review, transparent and fast track: ARWDE employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process until the acceptance of the full acceptance of the manuscripts to maintain the highest scientific standards. Once the manuscript is admitted, both the author and reviewer names will be published to provide full transparency and accountability of the peer reviewer. The review process is assisted by artificial intelligence, allowing fast track review of all submitted manuscripts. 

  • Independence: The journal operates independently and transparently. Sponsored issues or industry-funded content are clearly labeled and undergo the same rigorous review as all other submissions. The publisher, Elixir Institute, maintains a strict firewall between its commercial activities and editorial decisions.

  • History: ARWDE was founded to provide a dedicated home for the rapidly expanding fields of RWD and RWE, combining traditional academic rigor with the tools shaping the future of healthcare.

Archiving and Preservation
